After a successful screening at Friss Hús Budapest International Short Film Festival, No big deal (directed by Katalin Burns) has been selected for the 2nd Szirtes András Experimental Film Showcase.
The András Szirtes Experimental Film Showcase – now taking place for the second time – offers a communal forum, meeting point, and space of inspiration for all those who push the boundaries of moving image, experiment with new forms, gestures, and sensibilities, and for whom film is not merely a tool, but an independent mode of thinking.
The showcase evokes the spirit of András Szirtes (1951–2023), Balázs Béla Award-winning filmmaker: playful radicalism, rejection of convention, the freedom of creation, perpetual searching, and constant reinterpretation.
